World Famous ( WHITSTABLE NATIVE OYSTERS ) with PGI status
Whitstable Oysters are shellfish of the species Ostrea edulis (Native oyster) and Crassostrea gigas (cultivated European oyster) the meat of which is fat and succulent. They can only be found in the oyster beds in the vicinity of Whitstable, Kent. We’ve become world famous for the quality of our oysters and our keen to protect this.

West Whelks are known all over the world for our amazing oysters, we have Native Oysters from Whitstable, Rock Oysters from Whitstable, Rock Oysters from Ireland and Scotland.
All of our oysters are purified in our own systems for 48 hours and do not leave the sea until they are packaged last minute for your delivery.
If stored in a fridge they can hold up to three days.
